Jarrah is the language of the Aboriginies of Western Australia, which translates to Jarrah Tree or Eucalyptus Marginata. WA is the only place where Jarrah Trees can be found. The average history of Jarrah forests is about 200-400 years. Jarrah Trees are approximately 40m tall, blooming during November to January once every two years (sometimes even longer)

What is TA (Total Activity)?

TA is Australia's own testing standard, which indicates the overall antimicrobial effectiveness of the honey against a broad range of pathogens. This rating is primarily derived from the honey’s peroxide activity, which is a natural antibacterial quality derived from an enzyme that bees add to the nectar.

TA 35+ Medical Treatments:

Aid skin infections
Fight against Heliobacter Pylori
Treat oral diseases
The high level of TA also benefits in anti-ageing

Health Benefits

Treats any kind of skin infection.
Very useful for diabetics. Jarrah Honey has a high fructose sugar and low glucose level and its low glycemic index is suitable to be consumed by diabetics. Low glycemic foods are known to reduce insulin response in the body and improve blood cholesterol levels.
It has anti-ageing properties, due to its high content of antioxidants (2 or 3 times more than Manuka Honey from New Zealand)
It has anti-fungal effects. Studies showed its efficiency against Candida species, at a TA of 30.2% (w/v) phenol equivalent.
Relieves sore throats, due to the antimicrobial effects.
Relieves burns and sunburns while protecting the skin.
Clears mouth ulcers and bad breath. Jarrah Honey helps combat stomach bacteria like Helicobacter Pylori that may cause ulcers and bad breath.
